After trying a bunch of productivity apps to help me organize my life and help me become more effective, I realized that I wasn’t satisfied with any of them. This one is focused on helping teams collaborate on projects, that one is a bottomless bucket to throw your ever-growing task list into. I wanted not just an “app” to store all my crap in. I wanted a place. I wanted it to give me constraints to work within; a framework to fall back on. I wanted this place to prioritize a small list of tasks every day, focus on reflection, and empower the people to host their own data if they wanted. That’s why I built Volition.
